As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new accounts and maintaining our already well-established client base through a combination of in-bound lead follow-up, indoor phone sales, field sales and direct marketing efforts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designs, proposes and sells telecommunication packages (including voice, data, POTS, PRI, Metro Ethernet, WAN, LD, office phone systems, collocation, and more) to high value medium business market customers via face-to-face customer interface.
  • Proactively manage and build relationships to retain customer base and increase revenue. Partners with both customers and potential customers to understand their business, industry, and competition to determine present and future needs in a consultative selling approach.
  • Meets and exceeds sales goals. Independently establish and organize daily sales activities.
  • Exceeds customer expectations in the area of quality account management.
  • Attends and actively contributes to sales meetings and training programs.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork to support sales activities including sales orders, sales agreements, billing forms and sales reports in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines.
  • Illustrates strong technical capability (computer knowledge, ability to use online databases, billing systems, and order placement systems)
Required Skills:
  • Excels at selling on the basis of value rather than price
  • Proven & Quantifiable Successful Sales Track Record
  • Excellent account planning skills
  • Strong relationship, presentation and negotiation skills
  • First consideration will be given to those candidates who have prior sales experience
